Hello, dear friends!
Please find below the information that might be useful and
interesting for you.
Oddstream is a communication and multimedia festival where the
participation of the visitor and the interaction with the location
of the festival plays an important role. It will take place between
the 31st of May and 5th of June 2011 at the Vasim (a former factory)
in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. It also includes an international
multimedia training.
We use the word participation as opposite of passivity and
indifference. Oddstream brings and shows inspirational examples of
participation from the arts, culture, communication and media
together, let the visitors participate in the festival and doesn’t
avoid the debate. The theme of the first edition of Oddstream is:
love and conflict.
For this festival we are searching for independent European Music
and art-installations that fits the theme of the festival. For music
suggestions please email to fe...@oddstream.org including a link to
the music. For suggestions related to art-installations email to sas...@oddstream.org
with information and images of the work.
