Laba bersih Bumi itu naik dari 371JT USD k 440 jt USD(about 20% up from Y
08) ,tapi gara2 stripping cost dari tahun 2003 - 2009 yg diakumulasikan sampai
275 jt USD jadi dibilang labanya turun....nah kalau yang 2003-2009 stripping
cost sudah dibayar berarti Year 2010 Laba Bumi bakal MENGGILA (maybe above 500
Million USD if non core/non coal business(Newmont, herald dll) would be
included)!!!

Dengan laba bersih hanya USD190.45 juta dan diharga sekarang 2300, setara
dengan kira2 PER 25.74x. Kalau pakai laba bersih USD440.81 juta dan diharga
sekarang 2300, setara dengan kira2 PER 11.12x
Dari perhitungan ini, maka BUMI punya peluang naik dari harga 2300, dan juga
punya peluang turun dari harga 2300. Perkiraan saya kali saya jamin pasti
benernya :)

JAKARTA (Dow Jones)--Coal miner PT Bumi Resources (BUMI.JK) said Thursday that
its 2009 net profit fell 49% due mostly to lower sales and deferred stripping
costs.
Net profit for the January-to-December period fell to $190.45 million from
an adjusted net profit of $371.69 million in 2008.
Bumi Resources' spokesman Dileep Srivastava told Dow Jones Newswires in a
text message that the company booked $275 million in accumulated deferred
stripping costs, which had been amortized since 2003. Stripping costs are the
expenses incurred in removing excess waste materials in mine operations.
"Without the deferred stripping costs, Bumi's full-year net profit could
have risen to $440.81 million," Srivastava said, adding that the figure was
above the market consensus.
Bumi will give more details on its 2009 earnings on Monday.
He said that in the full year of 2009, Bumi sold 58.4 million metric tons
of coal, up 10% from 51.5 million tons by the end of 2008. It sold the coal at
an average selling price of $62 per ton, compared with $73 per ton in the
previous year.
"But we expect the 2010 outlook to be very strong," he added.
