Personally, I would like to see observability continue as a community.
It's one of the strengths of (Open)Solaris, and there is active work
in this area - we just aren't organized as a community, but I think we
ought to aim for option B.

I've tried a couple of times in the past to get enough Core Contributors
together to legitimize our community status, and am willing to be one
myself. I'm looking, therefore, for volunteers/suggestions.
