We have 2 sites, and each site have 2 servers with a shared OCFS filesystem.... What we want to do is to replicate everything that changes in a certain folder (application) in OCFS2 FS in site A into the same folder on the shared OCFS2 filesystem on site B....
SITE A 100 Mbit SITE B -------------------------> Server1 --- Server2 Server1 --- Server2 \ OCFS2 / \ OCFS2 / In fact we just need this for DR situation.... site B will be standby only... I wonder if there is any comercial or open-source solution to achiebe this.... thanks Raymundo From: ocfs2-users-boun...@oss.oracle.com [mailto:ocfs2-users-boun...@oss.oracle.com] On Behalf Of Luis Freitas Sent: Friday, January 23, 2009 6:22 AM To: Brian Kroth Cc: ocfs2-users@oss.oracle.com Subject: Re: [Ocfs2-users] OCFS2 replication Brian, We have EMC Mirrorview here, but it doesnt allow an active-active mirror, we mount only the primary lun on both servers, and the mirror lun needs to be "promoted" to primary, and then mounted in case of a disaster recovery. We have a script to do that. I'll report back our experiences when we do that, but I imagine it would be similar to drdb with nice interconnect.
