I am using Octave 3.2.3 on Windows installed with the Octave-forge installer.
"axis equal" does not equalize the data aspect ratio of plots. It gets closer
but if I plot a square it is still not square.
I see a thread in March that included a patch against 3.1.54 about the behavior
of "axis equal" and "axis square". Is that included in 3.2.3? Looking at
axis.m and the patch, it seems like it's there.
