Are any alternate plotting backends available on Windows?
available_backends returns only gnuplot. Is that a limitation of the
Octave-forge installer or Octave on Windows in general?

I would try the fltk backend on Ubuntu but I only have Jaunty installed
which only has Octave 3.0.x
