Actually, I object. Function 'prctile' doesn't exist in Octave 3.0.1 core,
which is the binary available on my platform (Ubuntu 9.04). And building
Octave 3.2.3 from source did not go as smoothly as one would have liked. I'd
guess that there are still plenty of people that would depend on this
function being available in the statistics package.
