  Those of you engaged in any level of international ecommerce (or
related development) might find the info at the URL below very of
great concern:

Follow the link to the Herald articles therein and you'll quickly see
what I mean.

Some issues are still a bit vague, specifically *precisely* what
areas the patent holders are attempting to "tax". But if it is more
than a very narrow area, or a bit of posturing, there's a battle
ahead.

All that's clear right now is that the patent exists, it is CURRENTLY
valid in NZ, and certain NZ e-tailers are already being approached to
"pay up, or desist from trading".
