It's a bit quiet out there.
I'm in line for a hardware upgrade and would be interested in people's opinions.
Assuming you're paying for it yourself and this is a machine that will be used
primarily for development - what do people consider to be the most important
specs? ie giving the most bangs for bucks. - and why!
I already have a Phillips 109S monitor, so don't talk about that (although I'm sure
someone will poiint out how much better a 17" LCD would be!).
If any one can recommend a video card that provides exceptional clarity, that would
be good.
All responses will be most carefully considered.
