The MS Update ones? I've certainly not experienced that many, only about 5-10 a day during the worst bit and it's slowing down now.

You may be interested in the following utility, which logs onto your mailserver and nukes the ones that have that particular virus before you have to download them:

I use Xtra but have stopped using them for mail and now use my own domain hosters.

Recently I have been getting viruses sent to me - they are about
150KBytes and I am getting 20 to 100 each hour.

Is anyone else having (has had) this problem?

Chrissy.

I doubt the delays have anything to do with Xtra. I don't use Xtra but I'm
still seeing delays and multiple repeats of the same messages. It must be a
problem with the mailing list software.

Ross.

This was posted to another list, but I'm sure Ian would like to hear
from DUG types as well if the Xtra delays continue.

Hmmm, good motto -- Get Xtra delays with... Xtra! <g>

Greetings As an employee of Telecom I've followed these emails with
great interest. If anyone experiences delays of more than an hour in
sending and receiving an email via Xtra from midday today (Thursday)
can you please contact me (via email!). Many thanks Ian Barker
