Sigh, major pain in the neck. Called a "Joe Job". I've been done a couple
of times, more recently as supposed sender of SoBig so have all of these
dumb virus scanners that cant detect forged header telling me that I need
to clean my machine. You really have to get ISP help. And yes, they CAN
help - there are resources around for helping ISP deal with joe jobs if their
own technical staff are too stupid to figure it out for themselves. Jump
up and down at Ihug. Tell them to ask for help on Net.admin.net-abuse.email
if they cant figure it. ISP all over world help customers with this problem
every day.
