There is a place I have seen advertised on TV called 0800 Sacked or
something.
They proclaim no success no fee....so with that in mind, ring them and
see what they havbeto say. They would obviously tell you you are
dreaming or not pretty quickly because they would be after the $$ of a
succesful win in emp. Court.
So since its an 0800 num. its got to be worth a ph. Call.

Subject: [DUG-Offtopic] Just A Thought

Some one from this list e-mailed me personally suggesting
that I looked at legal issues over my recent resignation and said that I
could well have a case for constructive dismissal.

My response was that I don't think I do as my main reason
for resigning was that I got sick of being challenged as to
the honesty of the time sheet I submitted. This is a part
time casual job and I work some weeks and not others and
when I work it could be 2 hours or 10 in the week.

The real reason I resigned is that I am TOTALLY pissed that this company
should imply that I am dishonest every time I submit a time sheet and
they have no problem in running 15 to 20 PCs with NO REGISTERED software
on them.

This has got me thinking. Maybe a case of constructive dismissal could
be taken on the grounds that they forced me to resign because I cannot
be expected to work for a company doing illegal things particularly when
that illegal actions are directly related to my "profession". Because
they refuse to buy software they force me to be unprofessional or
resign.

This could apply to any company which does something illegal and an
employee resigns and it would be interesting to see what the employment
court did about it. Would they agree that any
company doing anything illegal is putting undue pressure on
their employees?

.....ummmmmmmmmmm......

What is that saying - "Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we
practice to deceive". Maybe it could be reworded to "Oh what an
expensive web we weave, when first we try to f--k (can't say that word
cos David wont get the post :-) with Bill.

Chrissy.
