Have a mate looking at stocktaking using
handhelds.
He has inventory in Excel - splits into 5
copies for 5 pairs of counter/recorders.
Would like to have 5 handhelds with
items/codes/expected quantity pre-loaded.
Stocktakeres record actuals - stock items can
be located in more than one location.
Upload and collate output back to master
spreadsheet where reconciliation can take place.
Any ideas on software/hardware
combination that does this?
We have customers who do
it with Palm handhelds -
We find Oliver Huggins at ITLink very pleasant to deal
with.
And I believe we also have customers who do it with Opticon handhelds
supplied by Transtech -
