What about Java? If I am going to learn C# should I consider Java?
After all Java will run just about everywhere.

I've developed a small application to complement our major windows
product for the PocketPC. Wrote it in Visual Studio Pro. Did not
find it too difficult to learn (.net is rather cool I must say). I
just used .net's xml support on DataSets (similar to ClientDataSets I
suppose).
My Methodology was to buy 2 .net compact framework books and a c# book
and go from there.
I guess it all depends on how much you want to spend on your solution.

Hi
If one was intending to develop an application for Pocket PC and was
not yet a Java / Net user what would people recommend for quick
update and development?
Application would require some sort of DB, what options are available
for these devices?
We really no nothing about these devices, so any feed back would be
good :)
