Thats because the Pilot (program) was done under NDA. Of course it
"applies" - because it formed the basis of what is now OpenSolaris (as
in, the Project).

Because it was done under NDA. Because the CAB meet privately with a
few carefully selected Sun representatives. And there was a
gentlemans agreement that it was a private meeting where the
participants openly exchanged thoughts and ideas in an environment of
mutual trust and respect. What was not private were the live press
interviews we did during the meeting and afterwards. Whether *you*
believe it or not is irrelevant. But please don't try to persuade
others, who were not present at the meeting, that what they say
happened at the meeting did'nt happen, or what was heard (at the
meeting) was not said. Please don't imply that Roy and I and others
present are fabricating anything. Its rude and offensive and I take
objection to anyone implying the Roy Fielding would fabricate
anything. Do you see anyone who was present at the original/first
Sun/CAB meeting refuting anything that Roy F has stated? No you
don't; and you won't. Roy is a gentleman and a scholar and has always
acted professionally and truthfully. And has contributed a lot of
time and energy to the Program and tried his very best to ensure that
his knowledge of the most successful open source project in existence
(Apache) was passed on to the CAB and Sun management. And he also
tried to ensure that we (the OpenSolaris Project) would benefit from
their experience and not repeat the same mistakes that they made.

Again - this is very rude and obnoxious. And yet you keep persisting
that it did'nt happen etc. You're beginning to sound like one of
those conspiracy theorists that say that the moon landing never
happened....
