Minimum 3, maximum 7. We currently have 8 candidates who have accepted their nominations (and the possibility of more nominations and acceptances to come). Of course, with fewer than 7 candidates they could all be elected. That's not happened, and I'm not sure how we would deal with that - my reading is that we would still need to run the election so that there are enough votes cast to make it count.
