Minimum 3, maximum 7. We currently have 8 candidates who have
accepted their nominations (and the possibility of more nominations and
acceptances to come).

Of course, with fewer than 7 candidates they could all be elected. That's
not happened, and I'm not sure how we would deal with that - my reading
is that we would still need to run the election so that there are enough votes
cast to make it count. (Especially under the new constitution where the act
of voting is used to decide whether quorum is reached.)
