Hi Bonnie -

Notice I changed the 2008 wording. What we have now is two databases:
Bugtraq and Bugzilla. External people can file bugs in both places,
but they are not linked in any way shape or form. Also, there is
bugs.opensolaris.org to connect to Bugtraq, but external developers
cannot own them.

The idea of a poll comes from the OGB's discussion on what areas
we should prioritize one. Me, personally, can put 100% of my OGB
time on constitution related issues or 100% into defect tracking
tasks (which you know I am interested in, but have not had much
time to devout to this as part of my regular job). Or split...

I think it is useful to know what the community wants us to
spend our limited time and resources on.

Most of these items, though, i got from the 2008 poll list, as we
had discussed in our last OGB meeting as a good place to start
the discussion. The list can morph and change, I'm not set
on any of these.

I thought there were other things holding it up as well (such as a design
review?). Again, should the OGB prioritize on reviewing things in this
area, or spend their time elsewhere? I think that's a valid question.

No, Michelle mentioned on another thread that this was being worked
on.

Again, Michelle mentioned she was working on this on that same other
thread.

Yes, that's right - but like I noted with the defect tracking issue,
it's a matter of where we, the OGB, would spend our resources. we
obviously cannot commit resources of other teams. I would be happy
to rephrase any of these items - this mail is just to start a discussion.
