Does this committee have an email alias? I would like to
volunteer to help - though, as a Sun Employee, I don't fit
under your membership requirements (frown).

I'd like to propose two items for its short term agenda,
both of which are "just do it" AIs that shouldn't need
much discussion, and should be easily completed within
one week:

1) The committee needs to draft, discuss, approve and
send a scope definition and clarification email to
Bill Franklin to determine what (if any) influence
the OS.o community has on the non-CG and non-Project
    OS.o website content.

There seems to be two potential answers to this meta
question - either Sun is willing to collaborate with
the OS.o community or it is not. If it is willing, I
would expect the collaboration to begin at the OS.o
Editorial Board level and be delegated/federated down
from there to the various CGs.

2) Without waiting for a response to the above, JimG and
the Advocacy CG are trying to understand how they would
go about changing the content on the OS.o homepage:

It would be good to clarify for the entire OS.o community
exactly what the current process is for initiating such
changes, with the up front understanding that the process
will change and evolve in the future.
