You are probably not as off base as you think. I certainly think it's ok for
companies developing a business model around OpenSolaris to want to look
initially to the community to hire - that makes a lot of sense to me. I do worry
though that opening it up will lead to all sorts of advertising that we don't
want to see without a strict policy.

Ideally you'd only want to permit job posting that is going to directly benefit
opensolaris.org as well. Blog posts from community members also seem like a good
way to hire people these days ;)
