The Sun Solaris development process starts with a project proposal being submitted - and results in the "immediate" creation of an ARC project placeholder, entry into the "project database" and broadcast dissemination of the announcement. No approvals or endorsements of any type required - simply "if you want to do something, here is how you start", tied into "if you want to know what is happening, here's how to tune in". I don't know how to "fix" this out in OS.o-land. -John
