1) HA Clustering Community
The timeline for community discussion has passed on this proposal with no
issues. The board voted to approve this proposal with it being carried
7 positive, 0 negative and 0 abstentions.
2) Community Guidelines
Glynn sent a first draft of the community guidelines, and mentioned that he
had a few more things to be added eg. the notion of a Community Group
facilitator.
ACTION: All board members to provide feedback to community guidelines draft.
3) Announce Aliases
All new projects should now be announced on project-announce, with project
specific announcements going to their relevant aliases. Steve commented
that he would now like to make opensolaris-announce mandatory on
registration, with some sort of opt-out mechanism. Glynn commented that we
need to ensure that the moderators knew what was and wasn't now acceptable
in terms of content for that list.
ACTION: Steve to make opensolaris-announce mandatory for everyone registered
with clear guidelines for how to unsubscribe for that list.
