Thanks for the encouragement, but I won't even consider it until Sun executives make good on their predecessors' prior promises, both to me personally and publicly to the ASF, that Apache would be able to implement any Sun-led Java Specification as open source under the Java Community Process. Specifically, this means providing access to the JCK to the Apache Harmony project under terms that would not prevent us from distributing our own software under the Apache License. Although that has little to do with OpenSolaris, a promise is still a promise (in my world) and I don't do work on behalf of unethical companies. Cheers, Roy T.
