Per the OpenSolaris Constitution[1], The OGB set February 14,
2010 as the Record Date for the 2010 annual election. The Record
Date is used to determine who is entitled to vote in the election
and the majority and quorum numbers needed to pass ballot measures
and conclude the Members Meeting respectively. This is detailed in
Article V. Sections 5.7 through 5.9 of the Constitution. The
following statement gives the 2010 OpenSolaris Electorate, Majority
and Quorum numbers, where the Electorate number equals the number
of Core Contributors with valid grants on the Record Date.

===============================================================

  The 2010 OpenSolaris Record Date is February 14, 2010.

Furthermore, Core Contributors that did not authenticate by the
Record Date can vote in the election after authenticating their
accounts.

Sincerely,

2009-2010 OGB
