Lets see. I was born in 1967. I found D&D (or it found
me) when I was 10. That would have been 77. So I was
already running dungeon adventures by the time Doug
was born (I started DMing right away). Those were the
Monty Haul years. I remember them fondly. Everyone had
+5 weapons and were building their fortresses on
various elemental sub-planes. I think my friend John
Birk's mage was 18th level. If I recall, we were
getting in trouble for playing D&D (and sometimes Top
Secret) in the back of the classroom once we finished
our homework.
