I agree that the discussion is useful. I was just
teasing. I hope this tortured attempt to squeeze the
key character creation elements of Traveller into d20
demonstrates without any doubt that you just cant
convert everything into a generic system appropriately
when the rule system itself is such a key part of the
game.
Plus, I cant wait to see how you do Traveller ship
design from High Guard and Striker in d20. I cant
count the number of wasted afternoons my friends and I
spent making the perfect missile corvette...
