Greetings,
I wanted to let you all know what we finally decided to do with
Dunandralis. We divided it into two main projects.
Project One: Campaign Setting
This project has several options for contributors: 1. Contribute work by
going through [EMAIL PROTECTED] and utilizing the OGL as they
see fit. 2. Maintain a Dunandralis Trademark License and use or not use with
other open materials from Dunandralis. These people do not have to join a
list.
Project Two: d20 Module Creation
I am developing this project on a private list
([EMAIL PROTECTED]). Our primary goal is to create d20 supplements for
the Dunandralis setting and sell them at each Gen Con. All proceeds will go
toward providing gamers with college scholarships (awards go to the best
essays titled "How Roleplaying Games Improved My Education/Life/Relationship
with God/Family/etc...". ).
We are currently in the process of establishing a Board of Trustees,
and won't be able to move forward with this segment of the project until we
have done so. I hope we will be able to put thousands of gamers through
college, someday. For now, I will be happy to get out a few $500 book
scholarships by August.
So, how's that for improving the image of gaming? Is it my birthday,
yet? Probably not. I haven't been abused by anyone on this list, lately.
So, I thought I would drop you all a memo.
