I agree that this would be on topic. Unfortunately, the discussion has
degenerated from "how can we fix this" to "yes it is / no it isn't," and has
started to include personally directed comments.
If we think something is "broken", then who cares if a particular individual
disagrees; it just means they won't be helping to "fix" the issue.
Please, let's get back to *solving* problems.
