Having the power to do something doesn't mean you should do it.   I think censorship is wrong, but as an individual you have to ask yourself if this is really something you want to contribute to society.  I know this is all fun and games, but you still have an ethical responsibility to question yourself and worry about how your products will effect the world.

I will be using d20 to improve society, but I _still_ have to ask myself about my motives.  Will I really be improving society or simply expanding the market for RPG companies who earn larger audiences?  Will I be improving society or will I only be changing it into "my" vision of better... which in turn will only make life harder on someone new?  Only time will tell, but in the end I will sleep at night because I knew my intentions were good and that I did my best.

So, who cares what we think about your project.  Someone is going to complain about all of our efforts no matter what we do or who we are or who our audiences are.  What matters is how you will feel about yourself when all is said and done.  The fact that you felt the need to ask this list shows that you have some doubts about what you are doing.   Whatever you do, do it with confidence and passion or you won't have the energy to put up with all the BS that is about to head your way. ; )

Best of Luck,
Maggie
