[CLARK SAID] > > And what one publisher may love, > > another may hate. For example, "First Edition Feel" is > > our motto. BTW we sat down with a bunch of 3rd edition characters run by jaded, aging gamers the other day to play the "converted" version of "Slavers" from Eric's site and started into that old "hack and slash" mode and . . . . . . simply . . . had . . . a . . . BLAST! For the original, slug-fest, slay 'em all & let Cuthbert sort-em-out type of rock & roll experience, I can honestly say I have not had that kind of just plain raucous FUN playing D&D since - well, probably since "Slavers" was first on the shelves. Kudos to 3E and the "Feat" and "Prestige Class" system for bringing back the magic. Now we just have to figure out how to un-petrify the Sorcerer (who got hit with basilisk gaze attack and was (unhappily) the ONLY character with a "Stone to Flesh" scroll.)
