That sounds great to me. I think adventures could be
presented and ready to go if we had the PHB SRD and
several dozen of the classic monster stats and feats.

The only question that would remain is: can we use
basic magic items, for example, giving an orc leader
in the adventure a +1 sword, or, will that type of
information be withheld for the DMG SRD? Those
monsters need some treasure. At least that is what
most players tell me. :)

I'm not following you here. I do not know what Pip
Printing is, but I suspect that it is a Kinkos or
QuicKopy or your local copy-outlet type service.
While there may be some adventures or other material
churned out by people running down the block to run
off some b&w pages, my commentary is directed at
professional game companies efforts to produce
publications that distributors will want to pick-up.

Troll Lord Games products are not going to be vanity
press. Our publications are going to be 4-color cover
publications of a professional quality that will at
least meet, if not exceed, industry standards. Our
publications are being printed by one of the main
industry printing companies. As such, as you know, we
have to go to print weeks ahead of Gen Con. Indeed,
our publications are ready to go to the printer absent
the material that would be filled by d20 material --
stats, etc....
