Yup. Actually, this is a good idea. I'd definitely like to pursue this with
you, and anyone who comes out of the woodwork...

In non-d20 related notes, I had been starting on a game whose character
files were all in XML format. Not knowing if the list uses attachments or
not, I have blindly attached one of the quick examples I did. Flame me
off-list if attachments offend you.

Definitely agree as well. Have you had any experience writing DTD's?
They're pretty simple. On the other hand, you could download the venerable
XMLSpy (windows only), and have it create a DTD from a completed XML file.
Works wonders...
I'll be more than willing to donate webspace and perl programs to do
conversions and so forth... Check out gamegrene.com - my latest baby

Disobey has been mentioned in The Netly News, Internet World, ABC News,
Bruce Sterling's Dead Media Notes and many more. Microsoft and 3Com
ripped us off also... that's GOTTA mean we're important. And hell, we
got a rise out of Playboy! With sections that have nothing to do with
the others, you'll like at least one thing. No, really. Go there.
