Thank you for the reply and opinion.

>This line from the readme:

<snip>

>Is not ok, because it uses "Dungeons & Dragons", which is product identity,
>and "WotC", which should be. (I should add this to the Overview D20 SRD).

The offending line was changed to

"The Craft of the Mind is a "Psionics" system based on the core rules of the
d20 system, as outlined in the D20 Standard Reference Document. The name
"Psionics" is not used to differentiate this from the upcoming d20 psionics
rules."

>Because it violates the Product Identity clause ("Wizards of the Coast"),
>and it is unnecessary.

Noted. The "derivitive of" section was removed, and the copyright notice of
the D20SRD (as best I could find) was placed there, as follows:

"The Craft of the Mind is copyright 2000 Doug Meerschaert. The D20SRD is
copyright 2000 Wizards of the Coast, Inc. "

>You might want to say "works complying with the terms of the D20 System
>Trademark License" instead.

I did. If I could afford to have a lawyer examine this, I would--but, I
can't. :( My permission clause now reads:

"Permission is expressly granted to use the trademark "The Craft of the
Mind" in works following the D20 Standard Trademark License. If you wish
specific permission for some other use, please contact me. The terms
"witchcraft" is suggested as a replacement for those who wish to use this
work without the D20STL."

I look forward to the legal department's (eventual) answer.

All claims to the word "Mindwalker" as PI or trademark had been removed.

Done.

I *think* I've got this, but I could be wrong... is the addition in the
readme.txt file acceptable, or the actual "Copyright notice" of the OGL in
license.txt? I've done both in what's avaliable on-line (it'll be up a few
moments after I post this), but I'd like the POV of someone with a wee bit
more experience than a novice fanboy like me.
