Again, I don't "hold it against" White Wolf for reaching the decision it 
did. You seem to
think that calling something into question is an insult, but I'm interested 
in what the
company is doing and am going to order the product.

I think you are too quick to dismiss the possibility that opening some (or 
all) content
will benefit a publisher. By publishing the first D&D-compatible monster 
hardcover
other than WOTC, White Wolf is in a position to see its monsters put to use 
in a
large number of personal projects and professional open game projects. I 
think each
of those pro projects adds value to White Wolf's book, in the same manner that
other Freeport modules would help Death in Freeport. I admire Green Ronin
Publishing's decision to open Freeport for outside development by making it 
open
content. I'm looking forward to the new monsters that Crunchy Frog 
Enterprises is
going to open in its first module.
