Yesterday, I released another version of OpenRPG, an open source
role-playing application I've been working on for the last 8 months.
OpenRPG is a gaming "shell" that can be used for online gaming and/or as
a tabletop gaming tool. By "shell", I mean to imply that OpenRPG is
designed to allow the development of add-ons or plug ins for specific
game systems. I've tried not to promote OpenRPG to much until now
because its been in alpha. It still is, but I'm very close to beta.
Currently, I'm working on a collection of d20 plug-ins. A partial
character tool is included in the latest release.
I just wanted to make everyone aware of this project in case you'd like
to have a plug-in created for your d20 product. If you go to
www.openrpg.com, you will find some screen shots and the latest alpha
release.
