Really, I think the answers to Sigil's three questions would more than satisfy
most of the people here. Whether or not they would agree with your answers, at
least we would get an idea of your intent with your OGL declarations. I think
that's what the last month of "mongoose bashing", if you really feel that's
what 'we' were doing, was really about - answers to some fairly basic
questions, this time with examples provided. Sigil did more work than he or
any other consumer or publisher should have, but if that was what was
necessary, oh well. Thanks Sigil.

I've only been published in a few works by other 'real' publishers, as you
would put it, Matt. But I'm considering spending a lot more time preparing
finished works for release under the OGL, possibly the d20STL. I see an
industry that seems to be thriving, but is based on shadows and vagaries. Do I
want to invest a substantial part of my time on that? Seems like a poor
business decision from my perspective. I came to this list, and now have an
even worse impression for the business and legal integrity of OGL-based
publishers. While I have to admit that most of that has been caused by your
refusal to answer questions simply posed, my negative impression is based also
on the various levels of professionalism by other posters as well. I see
problems here that are much more broad than simply your company.

FWIW, I had no intent to antagonize you over this. But it's simply not worth
any effort to decipher your meaning, unless you generously answer The Sigil's
questions. I wish I had more to take away form this than a vague, biased and
unfounded feeling of 'how not to do it'.
