Ah, I think my school has disabled .htaccess files for
security reasons. I'll check with the helpdesk. I
found three potential bugs online (see below), and
fixed the first two. Try it again, just to be sure. If
it doesn't work, perhaps we can put it temporarily on
someone's personal server? Any takers?

Also, Keith, are you capable of downloading both files
as _files_, and then installing them by
"double-clicking" on the JAD? Your phone specs say
it's file-capable, whatever that means.

Edit: (Huh? Edit?) The current GAME_FMF.jad has an
absolute URL, so installing from the filesystem won't
work. But I think this method of installation MUST
work (how else would you install through Bluetooth,
etc.)? Try it with the first files I sent you, which I
moved to the "old" directory:

1) Data Error 906 - Invalid Descriptor
Problem: There is only a filename for the
"MIDlet-Jar-URL:" attribute in the .jad.
Solution: Use an absolute URL to specify the location
of your .jar.

2) Problem: Some phones need the "Content-Folder:"
attribute in the .jad file.
Solution: Add it.

3) HTTP Error 406 - Content not acceptable
Problem: Bad mime type for .jad files.
Solution: Set the mime type for .jad files to
"text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor".
Apache's default of "text/plain" doesn't work.
