Remember that GSoC projects are intended to be a full-time job for ~12
weeks
for a student - most ports of software will take a fraction of that

I think it depends. If we take something like Gnome update, OpenOffice
or, for example, putting XFCE into oi-userland, it could be adequate
amount of work..
