Feel free to ignore this request entirely on the maketx side. I realize
it's a version of maketx I modified weeks ago, adding a "--dither"
command-line option (a seemingly trivial addition when looking at the
oiiotool code).

The request for oiiotool holds though. I was able to repro the issue with a
fresh build of the freshly pulled master branch and Release-1.7.7 tag.
