We use OpenImageIO extensively here in our commercial renderer:

We not only use OpenImageIO as IO but actually use it everywhere.
OpenImageIO has very powerful infrastructures for our developers to prove ideas
quickly. For instance:
- Fast math
- Hash library
- Type conversion
- Half numbers
- Serialization/deserialization
- String utility
- File system
etc
It's a treasure for Computer Graphics developers. And we appreciate you people
for making it open-source and better.

I'm trying to tighten up my notes on which commercial products embed OIIO, open
source projects that use it as a dependency, or studio pipelines or tools where
it's used extensively. If you know about any of these, can you send me a quick
reply? Private email is fine, and please let me know whether or not it's ok to
mention it in the docs or README (if you say no, I won't do so unless I see it
published elsewhere).
