I had suggested replacing the current db-centric security service that is based Torque 
with an OJB version.  The reaction was positive, however, it probably won't make it 
into the next release.  I haven't had any spare time to work on it so it could be 
sometime before it is available.

The Turbine vs. Struts issue has been floating around on jetspeed-user for a couple of 
weeks now.  AFAIK, Jetspeed isn't dropping Turbine anytime soon.  Most of the 
committers, of which I am not, are very content with using Turbine for the time being.
