Thanks :) There is a basic beginnings of a JSON API (just a basic tastypie install at present) at e.g. http://leveson.sayit.mysociety.org/api/v0.1/?format=json The datasets currently there are actually a little bit of a cheat and skipped the XML format, but it is certainly planned to have them available in that format, yes, along with a generic exporter of content that might have come from other places (e.g. https://github.com/mysociety/sayit/issues/155 ).
