Is works merge coming soon? In the meantime, if I correct a work title and it now matches another work, will it automatically be merged at some point in the future?
I am working on author Jon Scieszka (http://openlibrary.org/authors/OL25111A/Jon_Scieszka), and pretty much every work on his list is duplicated. It would be nice to be able to clean this up, like you can in Goodreads. I would like to at least be able to merge all the editions of one book into the same work. Being able to eliminate duplicate records of the same printing of the same edition would be nice too. Another request: I wish there were a way to flag a work for removal. All of the works by Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss (http://openlibrary.org/authors/OL2760887A/Wubbulous_World_of_Dr._Seuss) are colouring books. How about a check box on the edit screen to flag the item for deletion if it is not a book (such as colouring books, magazines, pamphlets, CDs, DVDs, or VHSs, or my all-time favourite, art exhibit programs)?
