That's because that title isn't available in Canada. (Are any Kindle titles available in Canada? It looks like the Kindle itself ships there from the US?) In any case, if different publishers had the rights to a particular title in different territories, the ASIN would be different, just as the ISBN would be different. That's the point: the ASIN is an SKU, not a global identifier.
