Very cool, I started a discussion at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Citing_sources#Using_open_library_to_get_a_book_citation . I think there is consensus that it is useful to be linked somewhere on Wikipedia, but that the citation style which you chose is unconventional and maybe Template:Cite book [1] would be a better format to export citations in. Also, the order of names should be reversed or if you decide to change to cite book, you should you the "|first =" and "|last =" parameters to distinguish between last name and the rest of the name, so that citations would read last name first. I don't know what technical limitations you have, but before I pepper all the help and policy pages with instructions on how to pull citations from Open Library, I think the output should conform more with the standard practice.
