I put the U515 12 volt coil with built in resistor on today with new
points, condenser, cap and rotor. Runs like a champ.

Now for the next problem: I can't kill it with the key. When I check
voltage at the coil with key on is 12.8 and with key off it is 0.35
volts. Please correct me if I am wrong but the key kills the power to
the coil and the engine gets no spark.

If that is the case then why is mine still running after I kill power to
the coil?

Is 0.35 volts to the coil with the key off enough to keep it running?
Is this normal, should I try to track it down.

Also should I be reading a different reading from one side of the coil
to the other? Both sides read 12.8 volts.

And one more, I hooked the positive side of the coil to the key wire
and the negative side of the coil to the distributor wire. Is that
right? The shop manual didn't say.

Thanks to everyone for there help getting this project running!!

Jeff
