Yes , NAPA sells all the tune up stuff , go b*tch slap the dufus behind the counter and tell him to look in the ' Echlin Early Models Cata.og ' ALL NAPA stores are required to have , under 1946 Chevy trucks you'll find the 235 listings and the Belden Wire catalog will have the sparkplug wire set listed too . Oil filters etc/ NAPA sells it all and good quality too . the points and plugs should be the same as 216 , the cap & rotor are different but IIRC you can run either 216 or 235 as long as you keep cap & rotor a pair .
I'm not @ work else I'd post up the P/N's as I keep these catalogs under my desk . Get a dwell meter as that's the most accurate way to set the points and it's easy too once you try it . Valve adjust is important as well . Look in older posts here for the link to Deve's most excellent site on speedprint , it may be listed on the home page of this group . This is a freindly group so please remember to sign each post with your name or handle . -Nate old1946c wrote: > > Thanks! I also need a line on tune-up parts!
