Are we talking about the company the used to be Chevy Duty? If so, I will tell
you that I've ordered numerous parts from them and have never experienced any
sort of problem. In fact they were my main vendor during a total restoration
of my '50 3100. Maybe they've changed management or something?

As we are all aware of, when you order parts, there can be all kinds of
problems with the parts. I was also considering a local vendor here to order my
parts through, but he acts very impatient with me while I am making sure the
parts are the right ones. I might go through Jim Carter at this time, as when I
phone them, they take all the time to explain everything and act very
courteously during the process. A few more dollars in shipping costs is worth
the non-hassle down the road.
