I found the link. Maybe someone will put it in the links section, couldn;t hurt. http://www.indfloorcoating-repair.com/fultonsunshield.htm It goes on to say for a '48 GMC to use hole 2 and go up 11 3/4 inches from the bottom of the drip rail. I got the dogbones bolted in place, but it's supposed to be windy so I will probably put the main visor in the garage for a day or 2 but hopefully I will be back on the road soon. I got put on medical suspension until I can get a sleep study performed and the medical world is in their usual state of slow motion.

Dimension "A" is the distance from the lower edge of the bracket foot to the bottom of post, or rain gutter, while Dimension "C" is the distance from the upper edge of bracket foot to the top of the cowl post. Hole 1 is the inner most PAIR of holes, hole 2 is the next pair etc. Data for a 1947/1948 Thriftmaster is use HOLE #3 and dimension hole "A" or "C" is 12 3/4 inches. This is from the installation instructions someone pasted on the net several years ago. It may still be out there and worth googling as a good-fitting installation of a Fulton can be pesky. Can you post pictures of your installation? It would be fun to look at. I picked a complete Fulton real cheap because the shades had a fair bit of hail damage. I was able to shrink the aluminum with a torch and lots of patience. So far no cracks! I think they look hideous but I still like 'em. Good luck. These are for width adjustment. How many holes should be sticking out for mounting a visor on an AD truck? Ole Chevy and GMC trucks rule!
