The camber can be set with shim wedges, that go between axle mount face and
spring. did you have any when torn into?  Replaced in same spot?  Toe in can be
set. In extreme cases the axle can be Bent in middle to adjust outer ends, just
like they do with Fords twin I-beams.  Yes, sometimes a BIG truck shop is
needed for this work and kingpins.  Isn't this stuff in Shop Manuals???  Specs
are I'm sure.

I live in Indiana and have a 52 Chevy. Recently asked around at the
alignment shops here in town what they would charge to re-aligne my
truck. I want to rebuild the front end this spring and I know messing
with this and replacing the worn parts will warrant an alignment. To my
surprise, none of the shops can do an alignment on my truck. They say
they don't know how?????? I have never done anything like this. Is this
soemthing I can do in my garage? If so, how?
Thanks
John
