i installed a new crate motor in my 58
it just stays pegged except when hot and idling
no you do not have to change your gauge
you just won't be able to read it above 30psi

I would like to know what is the normal oil pressure is for a 1956 235 ci full
pressure engine? And will I have to change my oil pressure gauge from the 0-30
to the 0-60 ?
